Healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Recipe
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Recipe
Combine all ingredients in a blender. I used my new Vitamix, and it made this smoothie extra creamy.
1 cup milk (I used organic, unsweetened coconut milk)
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie puree!)
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp organic almond butter
1 tbsp vanilla protein (I used Ancient Nutrition’s Bone Broth Collagen Protein)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon (ceylon or true cinnamon)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 in ginger (small piece or more if you like it spicy)
1 tsp lion’s mane mushroom (I used Purica’s micronized full spectrum Lion’s Mane powder)
Optional: 1 tsp psyllium husks or chia seeds for more fiber
Toppings:
bee pollen (I used Beekeeper’s Naturals Bee Pollen)
organic cacao nibs
